The other day, the long wands I was using for my triple garland broke off, so I needed to prepare new wands.

While preparing the wands, I decided to assemble a lighter weight multi-stage garland.

It is more compact and maneuverable than the ones I have created in the past.

Both the top string and bottom string are made of plastic chain.

As I have gotten older, I have come to appreciate the advantages of the wand's light weight.

(I'm not an English speaker, so I'm using Google Translate and DeepL. Please bear with strange sentences if there are any.)

The four sections at the tip were pulled out because they were too thin.

It is a plastic chain sold in Japan. It cost about $ 32 for 15 meters. The nominal size is written on label as "2mm".

Attach the top chain. Each fishing rod has holes drilled through the sides of the rod (in this case, three holes). When attaching a chain, use a "twist tie" that has been cut short.

Attach the "third from the top" chain.

Attach the center chain. Adjust length to avoid sagging.

Install a small loop (bottom string). If a cut is made in a piece of chain, it can be used as a connecting component.

It looks better if you count the number of pieces of chain and put them on equally spaced.
