After the last session I decided to share the recepie Im using right now. As usual tweaking it probably is needed but its working well and it makes me proud to be its daddy.
What Im working on at the moment is lovering the sugar, I have a little of it in the mix.
1 mix = 1400 grams of finished bubble juice. I usually makes around 6 bottles each time.
- 200 ml luke warm water in a bowl (smaller bowl actually makes a difference on the mix)
- 5 grams (1 tsp) Baking Soda
- Put the Baking Soda in the water and mix.
- 1.67 grams of Natrosol (0.75 tsp) a bit more or a little less wont kill the mix
- Gentle dash the natrosol into the water while you rigorously stir the water. Stir it well so it bubbles up and you get a good thick foam on the top, at least a 4-7 minutes. Do something else and keep an eye on the bowl, and stir it rigorosly so you get a good foam on top of it, if you have a good arm you can just sit there and stir till it dont foam anymore. (this is only my own conclusion) Then it is at least so far gone that it wont split up again, just stir it now and then.
- Let the above mix rest over night or use it imediatly. If going forward imediatly keep reading next line now.
- 1100 grams of, a bit more than luke warm, water in a bowl or bottle that can keep at least 1.5 liter.
- 50 grams of sugar, add that to the water you just filled up. Make sure it dissolves.
- Add the Natrosol mix to the bowl or bottle with sugar water
- 2 grams citric acid (2 ml) added to the bowl or bottle and mix it well, alots more will kill the mix ^^
- 90 grams of Yes detergent (100 ml) Add this last, preferably when you have the mix in the bottle. Its 90 grams of detergent for 1300 grams of the mix.
This is a ready to go mix but letting it rest for an hour or so help out, a day as well a few days, who can wait a few days? :P
This recepie has not been tweaked or worked on much, working on it a little but so far the only conclusion I had was to not touch the sugar but have to evaluate it more.
When making it in a big bucket I just multiply the recepie by amount I need and it has so far been no problem for me. 6x above gives around 9 liters of bubblejuice.
