Fairy is a brand of Procter&Gamble.

Original colour of Fairy is green. Lately, a new detergent, Yes Platinum (blue), hit the market here in Denmark.

At the same time, it seems that P&G have a bit of a mix in their marketing material as at the current moment as the Yes detergent is green (and it should be blue). See the picture below:

I will have to call P&G and investigate what is what because I can't get my hands on Fairy Ultra which have been recommended here on the wiki and I can't live with the next best.

Update as of 20th aug 2013[]

P&G's representative told me, that Fairy and Yes brands are completely the same product, it's just 2 different brands. She have also pointed out, that Yes Platinum IS better (more powerfull) then the Fairy Original.

Yes Platinum was launched May 2013 (in Denmark).

She also told me, that Fairy Ultra is not something P&G sold in Denmark, at least she couldn't see any info on it back to 2005. It looked more to her, that the "Ultra Concentrate" is just an extra PR stunt/slogan on the bottle, the product itself is still a normal Fairy. The "Original" part is to show that it's the green edition, the very first one they made. The other scents are lemon etc, in that case the product would be called Fairy Lemon and not Fairy Original.

See the pictures above (sold from Amazon.de ). As one can see, it states "Fairy ultra concentrate" and below it says "original". So the "ultra concentrate" is just a gimmick/PR stunt to get people to belive, that the product is very powerfull. It's still a normal Fairy. The picture below still says "Fairy ultra concentrate" but the "original" part is changed to another scent name (Pomegranate, in German).

I was also sent to a website called Science in the Box where I could read up more info regarding P&G's detergents. From there I've proceeded to P&G's info site where I could see ingridients on some of the detergents (the differences are in bold):
